Importante huile sur toile d’époque 19e - 
Signée d'André Perrachon en bas à droite, dans son cadre d’origine portant une étiquette d’exposition au milieu en bas du cadre (visible sur la photo).
Elle représente une « chasse aux papillons » au 19e siècle.

Posée sur le filet à papillons, la boite en zinc dans laquelle on transportait les papillons s’est ouverte et ces derniers en profitent pour s’échapper.
Des brassées de fleurs des champs, répandues à même le sol apportent une touche lumineuse au tableau.

André Perrachon,peintre de scènes de genre, de natures mortes et surtout de fleurs, élève de Lepage et de l’école des Beaux Arts de Lyon exposa au Salon de Paris à partir de 1850 où il obtint une mention honorable en 1859 et une autre en 1863.
Il acquit sa réputation par son aptitude à rendre aux fleurs et aux roses, un naturel d’une perfection inégalable.
André Perrachon est le digne représentant de l’école Lyonnaise de la peinture de fleurs.
Il fut président de La Société Lyonnaise des Beaux Arts dés sa création en 1887.
Ses œuvres ont été acquises par différents musées Français et étrangers et plus spécialement par le musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon.
 
André PERRACHON (1828-1908) - "The hunt for butterflies" Important oil on canvas period 19th - 1m60 on 1m19 for the frame and 1m29 on 88cm, at sight for the canvas - Signed lower right, in its frame origin with an exhibition label in the middle at the bottom of the frame (visible in the photo). It represents a "butterfly hunt" in the 19th century. Put on the butterfly net, the zinc box in which the butterflies were transported opened and they took advantage of it to escape. Bushes of wildflowers, spread on the floor bring a touch of light to the table. André Perrachon, a painter of genre scenes, still lifes and especially flowers, a pupil of Lepage and the School of Fine Arts of Lyon exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1850 where he obtained an honorable mention in 1859 and another in 1863. He gained his reputation by his ability to give flowers and roses a naturalness of incomparable perfection. André Perrachon is the worthy representative of the Lyonnaise school of flower painting. He was president of the Société Lyonnaise des Beaux Arts since its creation in 1887. His works were acquired by various French and foreign museums and more specifically by the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon.
